Be Cabaret is a theatre piece commissioned by Bezna Theater that I was lucky enough to be the composer for and also acted in. For this piece I composed an explosive big band jazz composition that ends in a metal way. The idea was that a party is happening for the rich and famous and it is being crashed by a palestinian activist trying to spread the word about the truth of the pain happening in Palestine. The owner of the party keeps playing his music louder and louder to drown the activist out but in vain, the truth will always prevail.
